Denise K. Aguilar has been practicing law in Arizona since 2004. She is a Crimson Scholar graduate of New Mexico State University and earned her Juris Doctor from University of New Mexico School of Law. Denise has made bankruptcy a focus of her career since clerking for a bankruptcy attorney during law school. She also spent two years at the Pinal County Public Defender and one year at the Maricopa County Office of the Legal Defender, working as a trial attorney for indigent criminal defendants. Denise has a strong belief that all defendants should have the benefit of competent representation with strong advocacy. Denise is currently licensed to practice in Arizona Supreme Court, United States District Court, District of Arizona, and United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Arizona. Denise also serves as an attorney member of the Arizona Commission on Judicial Conduct.
Denise and her family are avid football fans. Denise’s husband, Joe, has coached football at the youth and high school levels for many years. Denise and Joe volunteer their time in the youth football community often. Denise loves to cook and work out, attend Joe’s football games, and spends much of her down time with her dogs, Nyla and Fausto, watching the Philadelphia Eagles win.
